Obama Administration is working on Gun Control “under the radar”, says Jim Brady.

In an article published in the Washington Post on April 11, President Barrack Obama is quoted as telling famous anti-gun activist Jim Brady that he was indeed “working on it” (gun control), but that they had “to go through some processes, but under the radar”, during a private meeting Brady had with the White House on March 30.

This news, combined with recent comments/actions by the President indicating that what he could not accomplish via Congress, he would otherwise accomplish via other channels, such as executive orders and regulatory agencies, and recent news that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE) was in the process of investigating options to restrict the importation and sale of shotguns that did not meet their strict interpretation of “sporting purposes”, seems to confirm that Obama has no regard for those above board processes set forth by the Constitution.

Did he not take an Oath, prescribed by the Constitution, as follows:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Actions speak louder that words. The President has time and time again broken his promise to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution. Instead, he has subverted, attacked, and worked to circumvent the Constitution at every possible juncture.
